Everything this president has done so far has been a threat to people of color.

When we said he was too racist to be president we meant it.

  • Signed executive order to build a wall at the US-Mexican border
  • Signed executive order to temporarily ban citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries and ban all refugees from entering the US; also indefinitely bans all Syrian refugees and establishes a RELIGIOUS TEST (outraged all-caps my own) for refugees, prioritizing Christians
  • Reversed the Obama administrations's decision to halt the building Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines
  • Reinstated the Global Gag Rule
  • Says "voter fraud" will be investigated
  • Ordered a weekly list of crimes (allegedly) committed by undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities
  • Appointed Steve "Brietbart" Bannon as his chief White House strategist
  • Appointed Michael "fear of Muslims is rational" Flynn as national security adviser
  • Appointed Ben "efforts to enforce the Fair Housing Act are communist" Carson as secretary of Housing and Urban Development
  • Jeff Sessions

Uniformity

Here's a funny one for the first day of summer for most of the kids in Memphis - my friend Heather sings the praises of school uniforms:

Why I Love Uniforms:
  1. Easy to shop for
  2. They tear up school clothes anyway
  3. No arguments about what to wear that day
  4. My child doesn't have to worry about who is wearing the latest cool fashion and can concentrate on learning

Editors Notes: The child in question just finished first grade, so the "latest cool fashion" part makes me giggle :)
