Superlatives of The Big Lebowski

  • Best California Accent in a Movie: John Goodman
  • Funniest One-Car Wreck: Involving The Dude and a dumpster
  • Best depiction of rubbing a pad of paper with a pencil to reveal what the last person wrote on it: You have to watch the movie for that one.

List-Related: Springpad

Remember when words were separate things?

Anyway, Springpad is a list organizer I'm trying out for keeping lists on my phone and my computer. I call it ListPhoneComputer.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be a keeper. I like the interface, so far it is easy to use, and it will be a better place to keep stuff to be accessible from my phone, home computer and work computer, than as draft emails.

List-Related: Listgeeks

Two people sent me information about this. One more and I'd have a list!

Listgeeks is "a socially-oriented platform for creating, sharing and comparing lists of things."

It's cute. Wish I'd thought of it

  1. curate: I hear this one all the time everywhere. Not sure how I feel about it.
  2. foundry: as a place where fonts are made?
  3. medium: not like a size, but as a choice of material such as oil paint, watercolor, etc., or in this case: video, audio, tutorial-based, flash, simple text, forum, or screen capture

I'm Singing! I'm on a Blog! And I'm Singing!

If I could sing,
  • I would want to sound like Mavis Staples.
  • I would probably sound like Catherine Ireton from the God Help the Girl album.
  • that would be awesome, but I actually sound like 2 cats fighting in a garbage can.
